The 1968 Charger R/T pictured above was used in the famous Steve McQueen movie Bullitt. I couldn't find an original picture of that Charger.
Here is the 1969 Charger R/T SE that the Joker posted about.
Well Joker, here you go. I couldn't find exactly what you were looking for in the Charger, but this one is amazing! I hope you like it.
As most of us know, this car was most recognizable as the General Lee in The Dukes of Hazzard, a TV show that aired in 1979-1985. Personally, I like this Charger R/T-SE that I have pictured much more than the General Lee.

WOW!! You are good!! That's exactly what I'd buy if I had the $$. I love it. I'm also with you as far as the General Lee goes. I'd much rather have the R/T SE in black exactly as you show it. It's no doubt my favorite classic muscle car.
ReplyDeleteAs far as the General Lee goes, if they threw Catherine Bach in with it...that'd be a different story! She's 54 now, and personally, I think she looks better now than she ever has.
Thanks so much for the post. Again, I'm honored!
You are very welcome!

Hello Lady, This is a grand automobile. Would love to have it. Far better looking than the Lee. My favotite car has always been a Shelby Cobra. Would love to have one I'd give the left for one. One day may be a kit Cobra. Nice blog Motor-head Lady. I'll be back. WW
ReplyDeleteHi WW,
ReplyDeleteThanks for the comment.
I'll do a post on the Shelby soon. It is right up there at the top of the list for most classic car lovers.
I have a friend that is a state patrolman ( I wrote about him in one of my posts months back) he owns a Fastback and I am going to get pictures of his car this spring. I'll post those for everyone to see...it is a great car.
